Trigger Warning
The following writing explores trauma, survival responses, power dynamics, gendered violence, political themes, and the emotional impact of unsafe societies and relationships.
Please, check in with your body and nervous system before reading. Step away at any time if you feel overwhelmed.
Preface
This piece is not meant to shock you — it’s meant to name what your body has already sensed. We are living in a moment where society is unraveling in quiet, insidious ways: not with explosions or revolutions, but with numbness, distraction, and a collective loss of integrity. Most people feel the collapse long before they can articulate it. They notice the tension in their nervous system, the erosion of trust, the performative morality, the loneliness disguised as independence. They feel the world becoming less human, less honest, less safe — yet no one wants to be the first to say, “Something is deeply wrong.”
This essay is that naming.
It’s a mirror held up to the structures we’re told to accept and the behaviors we’re conditioned to normalize. It’s not a prophecy of doom, but a diagnosis — one that helps us understand how sick systems shape sick people, and how noticing the symptoms is the first step toward reclaiming agency, community, and sanity.
If you read this, read slowly.
Read not as a critic of the world, but as someone waking up inside it.
Recognition is not collapse — recognition is the beginning of clarity, and clarity is the beginning of change.
Slow Decay
A society doesn’t fall in one dramatic moment — it rots slowly, from the inside out.
You can see the signs everywhere: in the home, in the body, in the land, in the sexual psyche, and in the media.
Here are the clearest indicators that a society is sick, colonized, under attack, or on the path to collapse.
1. Men Are Conditioned to Attack the Women They Should Protect
Healthy societies protect women.
Sick societies train men to surveil, exploit, and violate them for profit.
Since ancient times, sexual violence was celebrated as a reward of war.
Today, violent porn is mass-produced and legalized as entertainment — a new form of conquest, embedded into everyday life.
Foreign women are targeted first to erode male boundaries. Once those boundaries break, violence is directed inward toward local women and communities.
This is not accidental.
It is a globalized strategy of colonizing male sexuality, programming men at their most intimate root and grooming them into future perpetrators.
2. Sexuality Is Weaponized Into Trauma and Addiction
In a colonized society:
• Women learn arousal = danger, betrayal, abandonment.
• Men learn arousal = dominance + adrenaline.
This creates a chemical trauma bond:
• women enter flight-mode when aroused, struggling to orgasm
• men chase short-term transactional meaningless encounters and engage in targeted violence for a short-lived high
Birth rates collapse.
Relationships collapse.
Intimacy collapses.
And instead of directing anger at corrupt institutions, banks, or politics, men turn their rage sideways — often onto unarmed black and brown bodies, even children.
This is weaponized propaganda of sex, used to break the population from the inside. Sexual colonization is done as the first basis of internal control, so they can later externally control all avenues of their life.
3. Journalism Dies and Information Becomes a Weapon
When information is controlled, people are controlled.
A sick society:
• has no free press
• has no independent opposition
• broadcasts curated scripts written by intelligence networks and banks
You’re not informed — you’re managed.
You live in a polished hallucination, a national Truman Show.
Even the anchors are prisoners of the script.
This is weaponized propaganda of information. This is not a sign of a highly coordinated group headed in a good direction. It’s devolution before extinction.
4. Housing Stops Being Shelter and Becomes a Weapon
When a society treats housing as a commodity with a fluctuating value tied into GDP instead of a human right, you are in a war and cultural collapse is underway.
Signs:
• families cannot afford to live where they work
• entire neighborhoods are displaced
• stable homes become luxury items
• landlords become more powerful than communities
• eviction and homelessness rise even as wealth grows
Housing is supposed to be the nest where humans regenerate.
When the nest becomes a battlefield, families disintegrate and the future collapses with them.
5. Food Is Controlled, Not Grown
A society becomes colonized when corporations and hedge funds control its food.
Instead of nourishment, people are fed:
• addictive industrial products
• stripped soil
• poisoned ecosystems
• rising prices
• disappearing access to healthy options
Food is primal.
When you lose control of your food, you lose control of your body, your health, your autonomy, and your culture.
A society that cannot feed itself is not sovereign.
6. Healthcare Becomes a Profit Engine Instead of a Public Good
A collapsing society does not heal its people — it bills them.
Healthcare becomes:
• predatory
• privatized
• unaffordable
• unequal
• racially stratified
• a tool of debt and control
Life expectancy becomes a reflection of wealth, not humanity.
Entire populations become too sick to resist anything.
A society that profits from illness is a society preparing its own funeral.
7. Endless War Becomes the Background Noise of Daily Life
When permanent war feels normal, collapse has already begun.
Eternal war:
• drains your taxes
• strips your public services
• collapses infrastructure
• redirects trillions into defense contractors
• militarizes the economy
• destabilizes whole regions
But the darkest truth is this:
When war becomes profitable enough, the system turns its own citizens into refugees.
A sick society:
• destroys homes
• collapses cities
• creates artificial scarcity
• forces mass migration
• then profits again by managing the refugee crisis it engineered
This is extraction disguised as geopolitics.
8. People Turn on Each Other Instead of the System
The final stage of collapse is always internal fracture.
Instead of uniting against corrupt leaders hoarding land, wealth, resources, and knowledge, people attack each other:
• men attack women
• citizens attack immigrants
• races attack each other
• the poor attack the poorer
• communities collapse inward
This division is engineered.
It keeps people from recognizing the real structure harming them.
A society that turns inward is a society being harvested.
Conclusion: Recognizing Collapse Before It Consumes You
A society is sick when:
• sex is weaponized
• information is scripted
• housing is withheld, overpriced, or outright stolen
• food is poisoned, controlled, and impossible to grow yourself due to constraints
• healthcare is selective and predatory
• war is permanent
• people are displaced
• and communities attack each other instead of the powerful
These are not isolated issues.
They are symptoms of one thing:
a colonized society losing control of its body, mind, resources, and future.
